Welcome to my personal spot on the web. This website was formally known as “badassride.com” however I have lost most my interests in owning a car that cost me over 1k per month and am now focusing on family, friends and business. The new site direction is focused at mainly our new family.
In March 08, Victoria, our first daughter was born. She was safely brought into this world by my wonderful fiancé, whom we have been engaged since April 23rd, 2007. Thinking about how we got here is amazing but now that we have arrived and have this beautiful baby that has so much personality I can safely say that our lives have made a drastic change of direction. Not that our previous lives were bad… we have always had it good. But, now with a beautiful daughter to hold and care for, things couldn’t be better.
Victoria at the time of this writing is just over 7 months old now. I already have her typing on the keyboard (well, more like “bashing”). She just yesterday (10/13/08) started saying what sounds like “dada”. Mama is convinced that is her first word. I am leaning towards just making noises, but I must say it sure sounds like it.
A little about me:
I was born in Las Vegas. I lived most of my life in Pleasanton California growing up with some of the coolest nerds out there. I moved to Vegas to finish my last year of high school so I could attend UNLV right after it with no residency issues. Here in Las Vegas, I met my best friend, Anthony who is now the god father of our daughter, and my best man in my wedding in September 09.
My business partners are Henry and Jeremiah. Two people who are some of the most talented people I have ever met. Henry I met when I started at his company SmartConnect, Inc as a software developer, along with meeting Jer who was this other computer nerd who you would feel was one of the coolest guys you had ever met. We now have a Consulting Company together, HJT & Associates, Inc. We take on software development and business management deals and have been quite successful so far with it.
I’m currently working on two long term projects. One of them is AMHosting, LLC – a Reno based web hosting company. The other project is one that I started with in 2000, SmartConnect. At SmartConnect, I am the CTO, working like crazy to pump out amazing software for POS / DVR systems. Jer, Henry and I have a patent (well pending) on the technology.
